Civil and commercial law
Our firm deals with a large number of civil and commercial cases, basically dealing with contract law (e.g. disputes concerning contracts for insurance, provision of services, agreements between investors and investment funds, etc.). Private international law forms an integral part of this activity. However, we also assist our clients in liability cases (e.g. air transport liability) or cases regarding succession, particularly in relation to the rights of inheritors to obtain banking information from offshore structures, or the problem of the involvement of foreign entities (e.g. foundations) in the settlement of succession issues within Luxembourg. More generally, we act in the field of combatting civil fraud. Over the years, we have also developed a practice in defending investigative journalists in questions of freedom of expression.
